Minnetonka Maxie Award


The Maxie
Maxie McGee, a 2005 graduate of Minnetonka High School, served as a student manager for the Minnetonka football team his entire high school career. Maxie continues to work with the football program as a Team Assistant.

In 2005, the Max McGee family established a $2,000 college scholarship in the name of Maxwell Maxie McGee. The Maxie scholarship is awarded annually to a senior football player who exemplifies compassion, commitment, competitiveness, leadership, and generosity. The recipient of the Maxie Award is chosen by the Minnetonka varsity football staff and presented at the annual awards banquet at the end of the season.
